Earth Tone Flutes contemporary Anasazi Style flutes
The Earth Tone Flutes line of Anasazi Style flutes come with a number of options.  They are available in a wide variety of woods and can be made with custom burn rings or leather ties.

There is also an option regarding the bore size:

For players who choose, these flutes can be made with a slightly larger bore diameter (15/16ths of an inch instead of 7/8ths).  The advantage of the larger bore is that most beginning players find the ease of play in the first octave to be somewhat enhanced.  The flute has a bit more volume and the "sweet spot" at the embouchure end makes it easier to get a a note.
However, the larger bore means that while the flute is easier to play in the first octave, it will be just slightly more resistant to play in the higher octaves, and the tendency for the second octave to be somewhat flat will be a  tad bit more noticeable. Please note: These are subtle differences!   I play both types and on the larger bore flutes I can easily get well into the second octave, and hit the third octave fundamental note (along with some harmonics in between).  Depending upon the key of the flute these differences are even less noticeable.  The larger bore size is only available in the keys of A flat and A (the key of G already has a 15/16ths bore).  The keys of Bflat and B do not have the larger bore option available as it is unnecessary.

The tunings currently  being offered in the Earth Tone Flutes line are:
G, A flat, A, B flat and B.  NOTE: The keys of Aflat and G are quite long and might be uncomfortable for some players.

The base price for one of these flutes is $175.
